Troy Merritt Wins Quicken Loans Championship by Three Strokes Over Rickie Fowler

America's Troy Merritt won his first PGA title on Sunday at the Quicken Loans Championship hosted by Tiger Woods. Tiger played the weekend and finished -8 under par a relatively strong finish for Woods this year.
Rickie Fowler appears to be very well positioned heading into the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits as well as the FedEx Cup playoffs. Woods however needs to play next week's Wyndam tournament to hopefully qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Inbee Park Wins the Ladies British Open - Has She Won the Grand Slam?

South Korea's Inbee Park won the ladies British Open in Turnberry, Scotland shooting -12 under par three strokes better than Jin Young Ko also from South Korea at -9 under par.
Does this major win constitute a Grand Slam for Park? The answer is based on how you define the ladies Gran Slam - three, four or now five major championships. More specifically, at issue is the Evian Championship in France this September. Park won the Evian Championship "before" it was classified as a major, however, this September she will have the opportunity to put her detractors to rest with a win at Evian. What are her chances of winning the Evian Championship? Let us know your picks here at the Pro Golf Tour.

Two sub-par rounds of golf does not make a tournament, let alone a season, however, -8 under par represents Tiger Woods best performance of the 2015 PGA season. Does this bode well for Tiger as he looks to the up-coming PGA Championship at Whistling Straits? Well, let's wait until Sunday night to see where he finishes. And just what will the balance of the 2015 season hold for Tiger ... a strong year-end finish positioning him - perhaps - for a strong 2016 or continued struggles to re-gain his pre-injury form from 2012. Suzann Pettersen Leads Women's British Open After Round 2

Leaderboard:  http://www.lpga.com/leaderboard Weather is always a major factor in the British Isles. Which lady will prevail after rounds 3 and 4 to take home the winner's trophey? And will Inbee Park or Stacey Lewis make a second charge to be in contention come Sunday afternoon? Let us know your pick here at the Pro Golf Tour.
