Barclays Round 3: Sangmoon Bae and Jason Day are Co-Leaders at -11 Under Par

With Round 3 of the Barclays tournament coming to a close South Korea's Sangmoon Bae and Australia's Jason Day are tied for the lead at -11 under par. Americans Zach Johnson and Bubba Watson are on the 18th hole currently at tied -10 under par.

With Jordan Spieth having missed the cut a win or T2 finish by Day, Johnson or Watson could significantly tighten the FedEx Cup point standings. Spieth has a major lead, however, with 2000 FedEx Cup points going to the Barclays winner Day, Johnson or Watson could narrow Spieth's lead heading into the Deutsche Bank Championship next week. Bubba Watson Leads the Barclays By One Stroke After Round 2

Bubba Watson finished round 2 at -7 under par one stroke better than Jason Dufner, Tony Finau, Zach Johnson and Hendrik Stenson heading into the third round on Saturday. Watson is currently sitting in 3rd place in the FedEx Cup rankings and a win or top 2 finish this weekend could move him ahead of Jason Day who is now ranked number 2.

By contrast, Jordan Spieth reign as the world's number 1 ranked male golf was short-lived as he finished at +7 over par today and failed to make the cut along with Rickie Fowler and Brandt Snedeker. Solheim Cup - 2015 US and European Teams Announced

The 2015 Solheim Cup will be played September 18-20 at the St. Leon-Rot Golf Club in Germany. Yesterday the US and European captain's picks were announced. For the US, Captain Julie Inkster selected Brittany Lang and Paul Creamer. On the European side, Captain Carin Koch chose Caroline Hedwall, Karine Icher, Caroline Masson and Catriona Matthew.

The 2015 match play event should be quite thrilling. Following the European victory over the US in Colorado in 2013 the Americans are highly motivated to bring the cup back home. Wyndham: Davis Love III Wins - Tiger Woods Out of the FedEx Cup Playoffs

Davis Love III became the third oldest gentlemen to win a PGA Tour event at the age of 51 years-4 months old. For DLIII it is on to the FedEx Cup playoffs to content against the likes of Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day.

For Tiger Woods, his 2015 PGA Tour is over as he finished T10. Tiger needed to either win or place solo second at the Wyndham Championship to qualify for the FexEx Cup tourney. It is doubtfull that Tiger will be a Captain's pick for this year's President's Cup in South Korea.
