Stanford's Patrick Rogers plans to follow in Tiger Woods footsteps and turn pro following the NCAA Golf Tournament. Rogers is currently the #1 ranked amateur in the nation and the star of the Stanford University golf team. What will be Rogers first step into pro golf? Most likely a spot on the Web.com Tour combined with several sponsor exceptions on the PGA schedule. A 'good word' from Tiger Woods, former Stanford star, should help Rogers chart a smooth path to a PGA tour card in the near future.
