PGA Championship: Jason Day Wins First Major - Sets Scoring Record

Australia's Jason day won the PGA Championship by three strokes over Jordan Spieth to capture his first major win. Twenty-seven year-old Day has long been thought to be one of the world's best golfers not to have won a major title - until yesterday. His stunning display of golf shots set a major championship scoring record ending at -20 under par on a very challenging course, Whistling Straits. Day has moved to #3 in the official world golf ranking.

Fighting back tears of joy and relief Day graciously accepted the Wanamaker Trophy in front of thousands of cheering fans. What does the future hold for Jason Day. Well, this writer believes there are likely several more major wins in his future. Soon Day will compete in the FedEx Cup playoffs and lead the President's Cup team this October in South Korea.
